Video: Wyclef Performs At Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival 2015

Wyclef performed at the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival 2015 in the city of Willemstad. The festival took place on that island from September 3 to September 5th. As one of the headliners for the show—that also included Emeli Sande, Lionel Richie, John Legend and Usher—Wyclef rocked the house.

Wyclef stops in the middle of his performance to take a few shots for the fans who couldn’t be there. Clef is scheduled to drop an album this year entitled Clefacation.

Wyclef in concert! Were you there? If not, here’s a rundown of how things went. Brooklyn Bowl served as the perfect stage for the hip-hop legend.

Take a look at that guitar. Creative huh? Wyclef has made no secret of Bob Marley’s influence on Haitian music. Did you know that at one point in his career, he performed a remake of “No Woman, No Cry”, one of the most popular songs associated with Bob Marley’s musical legacy.

And speaking of legacy, earlier this year, Wyclef celebrated the 20th Anniversary of The Score the certified classic album that made him a superstar. This June will mark another musical milestone for the hip-hop legend, as it will mark the 19th anniversary of the release of his solo album The Carnival.

His much-anticipated album Clefication still doesn’t have a date, but his fans eagerly await it.

Clef is doing a lot of low-key rebranding.

I actually thought he was wearing a two-piece. This is actually a jumpsuit. Ooh, look at his tan Timbs.

Wyclef And Akon In Nigerian Film Black November

Well, that’s news to me.

The film in question is Black November, shot in Los Angeles, and centers on greed in the international oil industry. Jeta Amata, known for the Nollywood film Amazing Grace, among other productions—is the writer and producer behind the flick.

Clef plays Timi Gabriel, one of the henchman who kidnaps an American oil executive. The film also stars Vivica A. Fox, Persia White from “Girlfriends” and a host of African movie stars like Fred Amata and Razaaq Adoti, among others.

Wyclef To Speak And Perform At Global Citizen Forum In Monaco

It’s been confirmed! Wyclef Jean, yes our Wyclef Jean, is going to be performing in Monaco during the Global Citizen Forum. Good for Clef! This is the conference’s third year, and I don’t believe they’ve invited a rapper before. The forum will take place October 8-9 at the Opéra Monte Carlo.

So, what exactly is the Global Citizen Forum? Well, it’s like a large scale conference where world leaders, business folks, thought leaders, and the like get together to discuss their thoughts on the global community.

Wyclef Performed At The Bud Light Superbowl 50 Party

What did you do on Superbowl Weekend? Hip-hop star/legend Wyclef Jean performed in San Francisco at the Bud Light party. Check out some of these photos.

Looking at him, strumming the strings of his favorite instrument…the guitar.

With a fedora tipped over his head, Wyclef performed practically with his eyes closed.
