Singer-songwriter and performer Sasky Sky has released “Touch My Body” a single from her upcoming EP. She’s showing that not only can she sing female empowerment tracks like “Pretty Girl Whip”, and heartbreak anthems like “Alo” (her Creole-language remake of British singer Adele’s “Hello”), but that she can also get sensual if she so desires. And speaking of sensual, “Touch My Body” is unlike any other track she’s released before. The beat is faster, and very, very wild. The track is produced by beatmaker OGE Beats, with engineer work done by Edward Rogers.

And what of the lyrics? Well, she’s definitely bold.

This song reminded me of Whitney Houston’s classic song “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”—in that both singers portray dancing as not something casual, but something you can only do with someone who you truly care about—-and who cares about you. The following lyrics are from the song’s bridge:
