Five Haitian films will be screened at this year’s edition of Vues d’Afrique, a film festival that highlights films from the African Dyaspora. Among them…

1. Kamelo: A short directed by Jean-Claude Bourjolly, a filmmaker based in Port-au-Prince.

Rundown: The film covers the filmmaker’s perspective of life in Port-au-Prince in the early 1980s. 2. Victorieux ou Morts Mais Jamais Prisonniers [Victorious or Dead, But Never Prisoners],

4. Histoire de la Banque en Haiti [History of Banking in Haiti]

5. N’ap Vanse, Vap Vanse [We’re Moving Right Along]
