So Colombia and Haiti had it out on the soccer field over the weekend in a friendly soccer game at Marlins Mark in Miami.

Team Colombia kicked Team Haiti’s gluteus maximus 3-1.

But as usual, Team Haiti played it out until the end.

And meanwhile, the fans were going wild in the bleachers. Team Haiti probably felt very invigorated.

On this day of March 29th 1818, Anne Alexandre Sabès, also known as Alexandre Pétion died. Pétion named the general Boyer as his successor; he took control in 1818 following the death of Pétion from yellow fever. After Henry I and his son died in 1820, Boyer reunited the country under his rule.
