Haiti’s glamour-inclined women will have a special treat this weekend. Beauté des Antilles, a beauty expo—and initiative of the company La Perle Beaute—will be held in Port-au-Prince June 12-13 at the Karibe Hotel.

Makeup artist Matti Domingue will be on hand to give attendees some pointers on makeup application, and to showcase her work as a beauty guru.

Attendees will have the opportunity to view booths selling everything from hair extensions to makeup palettes.

The beauty event is the mastermind of entrepreneurs Cynthia Roy and Elizabeth Prochet, who wanted to give Haiti’s glamour girls the opportunity to preview the hippest cosmetic products, while mingling with other beauty-minded women.

The La Perle event will be one of many initiatives that are being planned by the entrepreneurs to build their brand.
