Garcelle Beauvais Joins Spiderman Homecoming Cast
Garcelle Beauvais will be in Spiderman Homecoming, set to be released in theaters next year. No word yet on the name of the character she will play. The movie’s screenwriters are John Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the scribes behind such TV series as “Bones” and “Horrible Bosses” respectively.
This Spiderman installment will be directed by Jon Watts, known previously for helming comedies. But, ahem, he did direct The Robo Cop, an action film in the early 2010s.
This will be an interesting role for Garcelle. As far as I can tell from her filmography, this is her first sci-fi adventure film.
Something tells me that a third Girlfriend Getaway will be on her list of projects. Maybe she’ll direct this time.
Good for Garcelle!
