2.Il fût envoyé dans la ville de Beauvais en France pour ses études, gradua en tant qu’ingénieur.
3.Il maria une femme française avec qui il eût 2 enfants, elle était enceinte durant le voyage fatidique et donna naissance à un bambin 1 mois plus tard.
4.Il entreprit ce voyage, car la discrimination raciale dans la société française, lui empêchait de trouver un emploi pour subvenir aux besoins de sa famille.
5.Il était le neuveu du président d’Haïti, Cincinnatus Leconte.
